Airbnb’s resource article of 13 October 2026 says the service fee is a single 15.5% paid by the host, on the nightly price and host fees such as cleaning or pets, and 16% for listings in Brazil and Mexico. The Help Center still describes the older split fee, where most hosts pay 3%, and says that structure is being phased out. VAT can apply on top. Checked 20 October 2026.
Booking.com says the percentage is in your accommodation agreement and depends on country, property type, and any marketing programme. It is charged on the room rate and extra fees, not on local taxes such as a city tax. There is no single public rate, so this line stays blank until you type yours. Checked 20 October 2026.
Vrbo’s help page describes a flat 12% commission, including payment processing, on the rental amount and host fees such as cleaning, pet, and boat fees. Taxes and security deposits are outside that 12% and take a 3% processing fee. Vrbo’s host terms say new terms take effect on 29 October 2026. Leave the box off if this booking is still on an older rate. Partner software has described older pay-per-booking rates of 5% or 8%; those are not used here. In some regions, including parts of Europe, Vrbo says software-connected bookings can be 12–15%. Checked 20 October 2026.
